RUMAH CENDAWAN
Contoh rumah cendawan yang ringkas pernah saya lihatkan.

yang ini pula salah satu contoh rak yang saya buat ketika pembabitan awal dalam industri cendawan -trial bags.. saya buat rak cendwan di tepi rumah. just gantungkan black netting di tepi ala-ala kelambu. :-)
simple kan..


Pengusaha ini pula, menggunakan pondok rehat beliau. Tapi beliau menghadapi masalah cendawan kering. Kenapa boleh begitu?? ini kerana disebabkan proses pengipasan yang diberikan.. Maksudnya..cendawan memang nak tumbuh dalam keadaan yang sejuk dan lembap, tapi anda sedar tak angin kipas sebenarnya akan menyebabkan cendawan kering.. Kena ingat tu semua..

Apakah itu Spent Mushroom Subrate (SMS) ??


Spent Mushroom Subrate (SMS) ialah hampas subrate beg media cendawan yang telah terbuang samada rosak ataupun telah habis pusingan bagi proses penuaian(harvesting)

Apakah Kegunaan SMS??
Sebenarnya, hampas subrat cendawan ada banyak kegunaanya. Antaranya ialah :
1) Makanan Haiwan (ruminan-lembu,kambing ,ikan etc..)
2) Bahan untuk jana Bioapi ( Metan, Bioteanol)
3) Substrat untuk Vermikompos (kompos organik untuk tumbuhan & sayur-sayuran)
4) Kompos untuk meningkat Nutrien dalam Tanah (Mulching)
5) Bioremediasi bahan toksik (pewarna,poli-aromtaik hidrokarbon)
6) Substart Alternatif penanaman cendawan ( dgn nisbah yang telah dikaji)
7) Biochar

SMS - Bahan Alternatif untuk Penanaman Cendawan???
Soalan-soalan yang sudah pastinya bermain di minda :
1) boleh ker?
2) berapa nisbah campuran?
3) Hasil cendawan macam mana?

Saya memang pasti, ramai yang tertanya-tanya. Mungkin ada juga yang langsung tidak mengetahuinya..sedangkan bahan terbuang itu memang hari-hari kita nampak terutamanya kepada pengusaha cendawan.Mungkin ada yang telah mengaplikasikannya.

Saya berpeluang untuk berkongsi sedikit maklumat ini pun setelah selesai menaman bunga mengunakan SMS..Tetiba sahaja gerak hati ini kuat untuk membelek nota-nota lama Persatuan Cendawan yang saya Hadiri pada tahun2 sebelum ini.Ternyata apa yang ditunjukan ini memberi pengetahuan baru kepada saya sendiri walaupun Nota tersebut sudahpun berusia 3 tahun di tangan saya. Thanx God.

Berapa Cadangan Formulasi or Nisbah Campuran??
1) Recycled Sawdust (SMS)
2) Fresh Sawdust + SMS

ermmm...biarlah saya rahsiakan dulu dan akan kongsikan bila saya dah applikasikannya.
tapi yang pastinya saya akan kongsikan kepada peserta-peserta kursus yang saya anjurkan sahaja.

Ini adalah Hasil Pemerhatian yang telah dibuat di UM menggunakan SMS:
1) Kadar pertumbuhan miselium cepat dalam beg substrat terpakai berbandng dengan beg yang menganduni substarate baru
2) Hasil cendawan tinggi berbanding daripada beg subsrate terpakai denagn hasil daripada beg substrate baru.

Saya selitkan sedikit kegunaan SMS yang paling senang diaplikasikan:

1) untuk tanaman bunga-bunga




Ini Hasilnya..Simple jea.


2 ) Tanaman Sayur-sayuran - Sayur Tou miaw/ Tauge Sabah / Sayur Hijau







3 ) Tanaman Halia - Saya akan cuba dapatkan lebih maklumat daripada pengusaha yg telah mencuba menggunakan SMS. Katanya hasil yang sangat bagus sekali.

Syarikat ini telah didaftarkan secara rasmi pada April 2009 dan beroperasi pada July 2009. Nas Mayang Biotech beroperasi sebagai pengeluar benih utama bagi pengusaha cendawan di sarawak.

Awesome Moments At Miri - Kolej Komuniti Miri

Pada 17-19 June, saya telah berkunjung ke Bandaraya Miri. Pengalaman yang amat menyeronokkan. Tujuan saya ke sana adalah sebagai tenaga pengajar di bawah Program Kursus Jangka Pendek 1 Malaysia iaitu berkongsi Ilmu pengetahuan di dalam Bidang Penanaman Cendawan. Terdapat seramai 25 orang peserta. Kesemuanya menunjukkan minat yang sangat mendalam. Dan saya pula, berasa amat gembira sekiranya susulan daripada kursus ini ada di antara mereka yang terus serius di dalam industri ini.

Apa yang saya lihat dan dengari serta kumpulkan sedikit maklumat , di Bandar Miri ini pasaran dan Potensi bagi penanaman cendawan masih lagi terbentang luas. Saya pun geram nak masuk ke padang, tapi biarlah kita berikan peluang kepada orang2 di sana. Semoga berjaga kepada semua.

Gawai Day or Gawai Dayak is a festival celebrated in Sarawak on 1 June every year. It is both a religious and social occasion. The word Gawai means a ritual or festival whereas Dayak is a collective name for the native ethnic groups of Sarawak (and neighboring Indonesian Kalimantan): the Iban, also known as Sea Dayak and the Bidayuh people, also known as Land Dayak. Thus, Gawai Dayak literally means "Dayak Festival". Dayak would visit their friends and relatives on this day. Such visit is more commonly known as "ngabang" in the Iban language. Those too far away to visit would receive greeting cards.
It started back in 1957 in a radio forum held by Mr Ian Kingsley, a radio programme organiser. This generated a lot of interest among the Dayak community.
The mode of celebration varies from place to place. Preparation starts early. Tuak (rice wine) is brewed (at least one month before the celebration) and traditional delicacies like penganan (cakes from rice flour, sugar and coconut milk) are prepared. As the big day approaches, everyone will be busy with general cleaning and preparing food and cakes. On Gawai Eve, glutinous rice is steamed in bamboo (ngelulun pulut). In the longhouse, new mats will be laid out on the ruai (an open gallery which runs through the entire length of the longhouse). The walls of most bilik (rooms) and the ruai are decorated with Pua Kumbu (traditional blankets). A visit to clean the graveyard is also conducted and offerings offered to the dead. After the visit it is important to bathe before entering the longhouse to ward off bad luck.

 The celebration starts on the evening of 31 May. In most Iban longhouses, it starts with a ceremony called Muai Antu Rua (to cast away the spirit of greed), signifying the non-interference of the spirit of bad luck in the celebration. Two children or men each dragging a chapan (winnowing basket) will pass each family's room. Every family will throw some unwanted article into the basket. The unwanted articles will be tossed to the ground from the end of the longhouse for the spirit of bad luck.
Around 6 pm or as the sun sets, miring (offering ceremony) will take place. Before the ceremony, gendang rayah (ritual music) is performed. The Feast Chief thanks the gods for the good harvest, and asks for guidance, blessings and long life as he waves a cockerel over the offerings. He then sacrifices the cockerel and a little blood is used together with the offerings.
Once the offering ceremony is done, dinner is then served at the ruai. Just before midnight, a procession up and down the ruai seven times called Ngalu Petara (welcoming the spirit gods) is performed. During this procession, a beauty pageant to choose the festival's queen and king (Kumang & Keling Gawai) is sometimes conducted. Meanwhile, drinks, traditional cakes and delicacies are served.
At midnight, the gong is beaten to call the celebrants to attention. The longhouse Chief (tuai rumah) or Festival Chief will lead everyone to drink the Ai Pengayu (normally tuak for long life) and at the same time wish each other "gayu-guru, gerai-nyamai" (long life, health and prosperity). The celebration now turns merrier and less formal. Some will dance to the traditional music played, others will sing the pantun (poems). In urban areas, Dayaks will organise gatherings at community centres or restaurants to celebrate the evening.
Other activities that may follow the next few days include: cock-fighting matches, and blowpipe and ngajat competitions. On this day, 1 June, homes of the Dayaks are opened to visitors and guests.
Traditionally, when guests arrive at a longhouse, they are given the ai tiki as a welcome. From time to time, guests are served tuak. This would be called nyibur temuai which literally means "watering of guests".

Christian Dayaks normally attend a church mass service to thank God for the good harvest.
Gawai Dayak celebrations may last for several days. It is also during this time of year that many Dayak weddings take place, as it is one of the rare occasions when all the members of the community return home to their ancestral longhouse.
Up till 1962, the British colonial government refused to recognise Dayak Day. Gawai Dayak was formally gazetted on 25 September 1964 as a public holiday in place of Sarawak Day. It was first celebrated on 1 June 1965 and became a symbol of unity, aspiration and hope for the Dayak community. Today, it is an integral part of Dayak social life. It is a thanksgiving day marking good harvest and a time to plan for the new farming season or activities ahead.
